So I went to a book sale today at The Center for Children’s Books at UIUC. I came away with about 40 bucks worth of books with the justification that I didn’t need to buy any textbooks this semester. They had a small section of used books, and I came across a pristine old copy of Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret by Judy Bloom. I always flip through a book before I decided to take it (especially with used books) and realized that I was probably the first to do so, even by those who set up the sale, because I found this:
Needless to say, I added it to my pile right away and kept my mouth shut. 5 bucks well spent.
