Predict my life in books tag

For the SECOND TO LAST post of NaBloPoMo, I’m getting a tad bit slap-happy. I found this tag on a quick WordPress search because I needed an I-don’t-know-what-to-blog-about-today tag, and it is just silly enough to be exactly what I need. Here goes:

SOULMATE:

I’ve never really been one to fall in love with fictional characters, but I’m going to go with Sydney Carton on this one because his love story is so beautiful and tragic.

HOW YOU WILL MEET:

In a tavern, where he will be mysteriously cloaked and sitting in the corner (think Strider at the beginning of Fellowship). He’ll overhear me talking about something seemingly insignificant and interrupt me from my conversation, grabbing me roughly by the arm and leading me out the door. Outside, he will reveal that I am in grave peril and only he can protect me. We will then go on a perilous journey, escaping dark forces and falling deeply in love.

WHERE YOU WILL LIVE:

Rivendell.

JOB:

The Rivendell public librarian. Which is probably a tall, elegantly-robed archivist.

FINAL STORY-CREATE A STORY TO FILL THE GAPS IN YOUR STORY (HOW MANY KIDS YOU’LL HAVE IF ANY, HOW YOU DIE, ETC. YOU CAN STILL REFERENCE BOOKS FOR THIS PART):

Woah, woah, before we talk about kids, I need to go on more adventures. Sydney and I will stumble upon a magic pool that, when jumped into, will transport you to the Neitherlands (a la Lev Grossman’s The Magicians), which is a limbo-type space with portals to other worlds. I imagine they are portals to other fictional lands. So once we’re done having adventures at Hogwarts, Narnia, Neverland, Wonderland, etc., etc., etc., we’d go back to good old Middle Earth. I imagine settling down in the Shire because Rivendell seems too up-tight a place to raise kids. Maybe 3 kids. Then Sydney and I will die in a dragon fire and my 3 kids will go off on a grand adventure to avenge our deaths.

It could happen.
