Thank you to rakioddbooks for the tag! Let’s do this!
1. Name a book you would like to see under your Christmas tree.
I have a pretty long list of books that I sent to Santa, but if I had to pick one, I’d go with Improbable Libraries: A Visual Journey to the World’s Most Unusual Libraries. Reasons being: 1. it looks super cool, and 2. it’s not the type of book I would typically buy for myself (it’s more of a coffee table/gift book – perfect for under the Christmas tree!).
2. A book you’ll be reading during the Christmas Season.
I hope to participate in the Christmas BookTubeAThon, happening December 27-29. So I’m thinking of reading Are You My Mother? by Alison Bechdel because I just recently finished Fun Home and it’s short enough for the readathon.
3. Favourite Christmas Movie.
White Christmas. I could watch that movie every day. (Though a close second is Christmas Vacation, which my family inevitably ends up quoting for a good 10 minutes at our Christmas party each year…)
4. Do you like snow?
Yes. It’s so beautiful and peaceful and fun to play in. I absolutely hate driving in it, but I’m the type of person who will forever be a child at heart…what child isn’t delighted by the snow?
5. Name a character you would like to spend your Christmas day with.
I’m stealing an answer for this – The Doctor. Except I’d want to spend it with eleven because I have a huge crush on him.
6. To give or to receive?
To give! Especially if you know you found the perfect gift for someone. That is the best.
7. What fictional place would you like to spend Christmas at?
Hogwarts! No question. (As long as the Weasleys are staying for the holiday so I’d have cool people to hang out with.)
8. Fondest Christmas memory?
This is tough – all my Christmases have been great so I don’t have one that particularly sticks out above the rest. We always have a party for my mom’s side of the family on Christmas Day, and that’s my favorite part of the season because I get to see everyone who I don’t see often enough. It’s always very loud and very fun.
9. Can you say Christmas tree ten times FAST in a row (pronouncing it correctly!)
Yes. Choir taught me good diction.
I’m tagging:
That’s very kind. I hope your Christmas wish came true!
