Which do you prefer, Standalones or Series?
I prefer stand-alones. Series can be too big of a commitment for me, and I’m someone who has a wide range of tastes, so I like to change up my genres often. Though I have read many series and enjoy them a lot.
Which book do you wish had a movie or show adaptation?
I’m not really one to watch a show based on a book, since I feel like that’s too big a commitment (seeing a pattern here?) for something I’ve already read. I like movie adaptations, but I never know how to answer this question because the movies are seldom as good. I will say that I am SO looking forward to the Steven Spielberg “BFG” movie that’s coming out in 2016!
What’s your 2016 reading goal? (How many books, reading more from a certain genre or author etc)
30 books! I don’t have any other specific reading goals. Much like my blogging habits, my reading habits are whatever-strikes-my-current-fancy, so I don’t plan things out.
Which movie do you wish was based on a book?
Midnight in Paris
Do you have any pets?
Sadly, no. I’d love a dog, but I’m not in a good situation for one at the moment.
Are you multilingual? Which languages can you speak?
Sadly, no. I took about 4 years of French, but I’ve lost a lot of it. I could get by on a vacation, though.
What’s a childhood food or drink that is no longer in production that you miss?
I don’t really have one! I will say that I’m always sad when McDonald’s gets rid of their chicken selects, but that’s happened like twice now, so I’m confident they’ll be back again.
What are your favorite TV shows?
Sherlock, Doctor Who, Firefly, Downton Abbey, Arrested Development, How I Met Your Mother, So You Think You Can Dance (as you can see, many of these are over; I don’t watch a show till I can binge it all on Netflix)
Which upcoming movie are you most excited about?
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I cried when I saw the first trailer.
Which do you prefer, writing or blogging?
To me they are the same because I don’t do any other writing other than blogging (unless you count work stuff, which I don’t). So blogging for sure!
