Thank you to Reg @ She Latitude for tagging me! I saw this tag going around, and it’s quite fun, so I’m glad it got to me! Check out Reg – her blog is awesome!
The Rules
- Mention the creator of the tag (Ayunda @ Tea and Paperbacks).
- Thank the blogger who tagged you!
- Choose one of the options; you don’t have to tell the reasons why you chose that but you can also do them if you want to.
- Tag 10 other people to do this tag to spread the love!
One: Reading on the couch or on the bed?
Couch. I do read in both places, but I prefer the couch.
Two: Male main character or female main character?
Male, simply because I think I read more books with male protagonists. Though when a really strong, complex female main character comes along, I am that much more pleased since that’s out of my norm (unfortunately).
Three: Sweet snacks or salty snacks when reading?
Sweet, because I like to drink tea if I’m reading and snacking, and sweets go so much better with tea! Also, I usually only eat small portions of sweet snacks; if I ate salty snacks while I read, I would end up eating the whole box.
Four: Trilogies or quartets?
Hmmm, this one is hard because I have no strong preference. I’ll go with trilogies.
Five: First person point of view or third person point of view?
Third. I find that narrative style is much more varied and interesting with third person narration, and good prose is very important to me. I also enjoy getting a broad view of things.
Six: Reading at night or in the morning?
At night, because I am a zombie woman in the mornings and only have brains enough to move my limbs through the actions of my morning routine – though weekend reading in the mornings is nice!
Seven: Libraries or bookstores?
Libraries. There’s not as much pressure because you aren’t spending money. You can sit there for hours without feeling judged. (Though this was a really tough one because I adore bookstores. Pretty books to take home and fill my shelves and keep forever and ever! Consumerism!)
Eight: Books that make you laugh or make you cry?
Laugh. I feel like it’s easier to write something sad than something incredibly laugh-out-loud funny. If a book makes me laugh a lot, it becomes one of my favorites.
Nine: Black book covers or white book covers?
White, just because they stand out more to me and look all clean and shiny and pretty.
Ten: Character-driven or plot-driven stories?
Character-driven all the way. If I don’t feel like the characters are three dimensional, I won’t care what happens to them in the plot. Even if very little happens in the book, I love being gripped by well-crafted characters.
I’m tagging:
I’m only tagging 5 people because I’m a loose cannon blogger who doesn’t play by the rules.
Rae @ The Bookmark Chronicles
Jane @ Greenish Bookshelf
Beth @ Hello Beautiful Book Blog
Larkin @ Wonderfilled Reads
Emma @ Emdoesbookreviews
Thanks for the nom! 🙂

Haha, I’m exactly like you with reading in the morning. I’m SO NOT a morning person, waking up for work every day actually kind of hurts me sometimes even though it’s not really that early. The only way I could realistically ‘read’ a book in the morning is by listening to an audiobook, and my commute’s really short, usually not enough time to get into a book. 😛

Tea! That’s one of my go-to drinks for reading, too. Sweets would definitely go best with it.
I decided to do the tag, too: https://booksbeyondmeasure.wordpress.com/2016/03/13/this-or-that-book-tag-2/
