I’ve been tagged in a (different) This or That Tag by Madeline @ The SFF Bookshelf! Thanks, Madeline! Here we go:
Would you rather only read trilogies or standalones?
Only stand-alones. I rather like them. They are low-commitment.
Would you rather only read male or female authors?
ARG! That’s tough. My initial response would be male but I’m going with female instead because J.K. Rowling.
Would you rather shop at Barnes and Noble (the bookstore) orAmazon (online)?
Bookstore. Not even a question.
Would you rather books be made into television shows or movies?
Movies. I like watching movies better than watching TV shows generally. Even though you can obviously fit more into TV shows, a good movie adaptation is all that more impressive.
Would you rather only read five pages per day or five books per week?
Five books per week for sure! If only!
Would you rather be a professional author or reviewer?
Author. I like creating my own things rather than constantly commenting on someone else’s. That would get real tedious real fast. I’m not a very critical person, so it would tire me out within a month.
Would you rather be a librarian or bookseller?
Aha, funny you should ask! I’m actually (going to be) going to school to be a librarian! HOWEVER, it’s my secret life goal to open a bookshop one day, so this is actually quite a tough one. I guess librarian because all the profits and monies and running a business thing would be hard and confusing for my brain (which is why my ideal goal is to find a business partner to do all that for me 😉 ).
Would you rather read only your favourite genre, or every other genre but your favourite?
YIKES! This is hard because I read a wide variety of genres. Fantasy is probably my favorite and I couldn’t image life without it, so I guess I’ll go with the former choice. That one hurt, though.
Would you rather only read ebooks or physical copies?
Physical copies, without a doubt.

I’m not tagging anyone because I’ve been kindof tagging-myself out a bit. But anyone do it if you like!
I would pick to read my favourite genre too (which is fantasy) just because there are so many branches of it so you are not just reading ‘fantasy’ if that makes sense.

Yeah, that makes sense! There’s definitely lots of subgenres with each genre. Good point!

“Which is why my ideal goal is to find a business partner to do all that for me” the emoji at the end of that sentence makes me feel like you’re asking your readers if anyone wants to be your business partner lmao. 😀
Nice tag. x

I’m trying to come up with a really smart and funny answer but I have honestly no idea what to say. 😀

The second to last question is brutal. Fantasy is also my favorite genre but I love too many other genres to give them up just to read Fantasy.
We agree perfectly on the first 5 questions. 😀
