Thanks to The Ravenclaw Book Club for tagging me!
1. What do you like about buying new books?
There’s something about the physical object that delights me about a new book. So clean and nice and pretty and all mine.
2. How often do you buy new books?
I’d say I buy a couple a month. I’m trying to cut back my book-buying and I’m doing a pretty good job.
3. Bookstore or online book shopping – which do you prefer?
Bookstore, no question.
4. Do you have a favorite bookshop?
I wish I had a favorite bookshop that I regularly go to, but unfortunately there’s not much in my current area. So I’ll go with 2 of the best ones I’ve visited while on trips: The Wild Rumpus in Minneapolis and Mr. B’s Emporium of Reading Delights in Bath, England.
5. Do you preorder books?
Yep – I have a long pre-order list at the moment, actually. Ones I am highly anticipating for 2016.
6. Do you have a monthly book buying limit?
No, like I said, I’ve cut back a bit so I only buy a few per month, but I don’t have a set number.
7. Book buying bans – Are they something for you?
Nope.
8. How big is your wishlist?
Ummm…well…my Goodreads to-read list is at 367…but I don’t necessarily want to own all of the books on that list. Also, I’m starting to realize why this tag is called “Bookaholics Anonymous…”
9. Which three books from your wishlist do you wish to own NOW?
- On the Other Side by Carrie Hope Fletcher (comes out this summer)
- Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (which IS NOT a new Harry Potter book, people! It is a script and it was not written my J.K. Rowling. But I’m a theater nerd and a Harry Potter nerd, so I’m pretty pumped).
- Buffering by Hannah Hart (also comes out later this year)
10. Tagging?
OOO!!! I’m doing this too. All mine is the part I like about new books. 🙂

Mr. B’s Emporium of Reading Delights sounds like such a magical place! 😀

It absolutely is! They offer a book spa where you go and talk to booksellers about your tastes and you have tea and cake and get to pick out books…it is the best.

It’s funny that there’s a question about book-buying bans. I can also say “NOPE” now, having lived through one.
Aw, it’s unfortunate that there aren’t many great bookshops in your area. My city is full of them, so I’m very lucky in that regard.

Great answers for the book tag! This tag was very interesting. 😀 What books have you currently preordered? I would love to know what your long list consists of.

Thank you! My pre-order list consists of:
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (new illustrated edition)
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
On the Other Side by Carrie Hope Fletcher
Buffering by Hannah Hart
…I guess that’s it. For me it seems like a long list because I don’t normally have that many pre-orders!

Makes sense. I don’t have any preorders too so having 4 seems like a lot to me as well. 😀
And now the waiting game begins for you. tick tick.

Fun answers! I’m not really interested in The Cursed Child because I don’t love reading scripts. I do hope they’ll do a video or something of it someday, if I can’t see it live.

Yeah, I hope so too! It’ll n probably come to Broadway, but the chances of me getting to NYC are slim!

This is hilarious ❤ Would it be alright if I used the tag without actually being tagged in it? XD
Is there such a thing as a book buying ban? I WOULD RIOT! I need my books like I need air, and coffee, and my animals. A book buying ban would not end well : D for the person banning the buying of said books, that is.

Of course you can!! Sorry, I totally don’t know why I didn’t respond to like any of the comments on this post, lol. I guess people do book buying bans for themselves, but I couldn’t have that level of self-control.
